  1. Is there a market for weavers today, can you use your knowledge somehow in your working life?

    1. In the class were I was in my practise they do not have any course in machine weaving like they have in the higher education in Borås Högskola. This weaving lesson was more to get an idea how it is to weave. I think the market for weavers is very poor in Sweden today, but knowledge about the structures/weaves are important for production technologist, garment technologist and buyers and also designers.

  3. This was not a weaving course, it was only a part in a course regarding textile fibres and materials. They learned how to recognize different fibres and how to take care of the materials. The students also watched some short movies about "how to make yarn" and then they tried to make their own and also could try weaving.
