In which course are they making hats? Are all students making hats in this education? In the school I have practise I didn´t see any hat making in any course. I think this is very interesting. Is the teacher a milliner?
The students i 3rd grade has a milliner-course and I'm not quite sure but I think it was in a design-course (before GY11). As it is for now all the 3rd grade-students are learning to make hats. This is not in every school. I think they have it because this teacher knows how to do it. I don't think he is educaded as a milliner but he knows how to do hats.
About the hatmaking, so interesting: i like to make flowerhats with the floriststudents at the end when we fokus on design. It would bee interesting to collaborate. Maby have a workshop together where the students show each other tecnics and thinking from the different bransches.

DeleteTillskärarakademin (school i Gothenburg) has courses in hatmaking/milliner were you also can do "gesällprov" (don't know the english word...)
Do they have any exhibitions to show the hats? It would be very interesting to visit and see all the hats.
ReplyDeleteAt this point the don't have exhibitions. But I don't think it's impossible to come and see the hats it you contact them.
