Inside the classroom

Inside the classroom

Inside the sewing room. It´s a big room with sewing machines a long side the walls and large tables for pattern making in the middle. The classes aren´t full at this year so tht students have plenty of space.

The students have a fashion show coming up so there are things every where. Fässbergs only have two industrial sewing machines, the rest are household ones.

  1. You mentioned that Fässbergs only got two industrial machines, are they for straight seams, or do you have other kind, like zigzag or chainstitch? What about buttonhole and button machines?

    1. Just one for straight seams and one overlock (I´m sorry I can´t find the english word). The students hardly use them at all, they just saw on the hobby machines.

  2. Do you know why they only have two industial machines? I think it's very important that the students learn to handle them.

    1. No I don´t I´m afraid. I´ll ask. But I think it got to do with money and the fact that the program is not towards the industry.
